Bajaj Finserv Dividend 2023: NBFC major announces 80% dividend; check record and payout date
The Board of Directors have recommended a dividend at the rate Rs. 0.80 per share (80 per cent) of face value of Rs. 1 on equity shares for the financial year ended 31 March 2023, Bajaj Finserv said in its results filing on April 27, 2023.
Bajaj Finserv Dividend 2023: Bajaj Finserv – a Bajaj Group non-banking finance company (NBFC) – on Thursday announced an interim dividend to its shareholders for the financial year 2022-23 (FY23) along with its January-March quarter earnings for the previous fiscal.
“The Board of Directors have recommended a dividend at the rate Rs. 0.80 per share (80 per cent) of the face value of Rs. 1 on equity shares for the financial year ended 31 March 2023,” Bajaj Finserv said in its results filing on April 27, 2023.
The company said, “The dividend, if declared, by the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting, will be credited/dispatched on or about Friday, 28 July 2023 or Saturday, 29 July 2023.”
Bajaj Finserv has “fixed Tuesday, June 30, 2023 as the Record Date for the purpose of determining entitlement of the members for such Interim Dividend.”

The determination of record date is required to ascertain who exactly a company's shareholders are as of that date since shareholders of an actively traded stock are continually changing.
The shareholders of record as of the record date will be entitled to receive the dividend or distribution declared by the company.
Bajaj Finserv Q4 earnings
Bajaj Finserv reported a 31.4 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth in its net profit to Rs 1,769 crore for the quarter ended on March 31, 2023. Bajaj Finserv is the holding company for the various financial services businesses under the Bajaj Group.
While the revenue at Rs 23,625 crore for the three-month period as against Rs 18,861.7 crore for the year-ago quarter, according to the company’s regulatory filing.

Bajaj Finserv share price was among top gainers on the Nifty50 index today, it surged around 2 per cent to Rs 1,358.9 apiece on the NSE.
The stock in the last one year has dipped more than 54 per cent, while it has declined by around 13 per cent year to date.
