Bajaj Auto sales in July rise by 30%; commercial vehicles post highest ever monthly sales
It was commercial vehicle sales that outshined everything else for Bajaj Auto as it recorded highest ever monthly sales.
The Pune-based Bajaj Auto today presented the sales report for the month of July this year, under which the company sold 400,343 units rising by 30% compared to 307,727 units in the similar month of previous year. The company’s domestic sales grew by 27% with 237,511 units as against sales of 186,497 units in July 2017. Exports of the company were good with sales of 162,832 units higher by 34% compared to 121,230 units in July 2017.
The company’s motorcycle sales rose by 25% with 332,680 units as against sales of 265,182 units a year same period.
It was commercial vehicle sales that outshined everything else for Bajaj Auto as it recorded highest ever monthly sales.
In commercial vehicles, Bajaj Auto sold 67,663 unit which was rise of 59% compared to 42,545 units in the same month of previous year.
From April to July 2018, Bajaj Auto sold 1,626,984 vehicles growing by 36% versus sales of 1,196,161 units in the corresponding period of the previous year.
