AU Small Finance Bank rolls out Mastercard debit card for corporate salary customers

AU Small Finance Bank on Wednesday launched Mastercard debit cards in partnership with the US-based company. The debit card is specifically designed for the small finance bank’s corporate salary customers, the lender said in a statement. The lender also announced a slew of special offers along with the new debit card.

The bank said the product aims to address the lifestyle-related needs of its corporate salary customers “with exclusive offers across various top categories”.

"In our pursuit of being a customer-centric bank, we believe in providing our customers with access to a whole range of benefits. The launch of the Mastercard Debit Card is a significant step in this direction as it completes Debit Cards offering including all three major card networks,” said Uttam Tibrewal, Executive Director, AU Small Finance Bank.

“We start by offering this privilege to our salary customers, and this association will soon extend to other products, ensuring a comprehensive and rewarding banking experience for all,” Tibrewal added. The debit card was introduced under the theme “#Swipe&Save”. “Mastercard is delighted to collaborate with AU Small Finance Bank to facilitate the launch of this new card.  From travel, dining, online food delivery, electronics purchase, to day-to-day grocery shopping, the Mastercard Debit Card will reward cardholders for every transaction,” said Anubhav Gupta, Senior Vice President, Mastercard.

Here are some of the benefits offered along with the debit card:

20 per cent discount on movie tickets on BookMyShow, PVR INOX

AU Small Finance Bank said its entertainment offers include a 20 per cent discount on movie tickets at BookMyShow and PVR INOX.

15 per cent discount on EasyDiner, Zomato

The lender also mentioned a 15 per cent discount on EazyDiner and Zomato as part of its dining offers.

30 per cent discount on Swiggy and flat Rs 100 off on Zomato

The small finance bank also mentioned a 30 per cent discount on Swiggy and a flat Rs 100 off on Zomato as part of its online food delivery deals.

15 per cent discount on Yatra and ixigo bookings

The bank is offering a discount of up to 15 per cent on travel bookings with Yatra and ixigo.

10 per cent instant discount on Amazon Fashion, TATA CLiQ Luxury

The lender is offering an instant discount of 10 per cent on online shopping through Amazon Fashion and TATA CLiQ Luxury.

Other deals announced by AU Small Finance Bank

Besides, the lender will also offer a flat 10 per cent off on Pharmeasy, and money-saving deals on groceries on bigbasket and bbnow.
The debit card will also come with an exciting loyalty program that will appeal to users across segments, added Gupta of Mastercard.
