Amazon takes Flipkart head-on with Great Indian Festival; offers 10% cashback

Amazon India has announced deals on its flagship – Great Indian Festival which will begin along with rival e-commerce website, Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale.

For Prime members on Amazon the sale will start from September 20 while the rest can shop on the site from September 21. The sale will go on till September 24, Amazon said.

The company said that it will offer 40,000 offers across the span of four days on mobiles, electronics, home and kitchen appliances and fashion products.

Customers will get an additional 10% cashback on use of HDFC Bank credit and debit cards.

Along with this 6,000 exclusive offers will be given as ‘Amazon Exclusives’ offers to customers.

Deals on mobiles include discounts of up to 40% off. The company is offering deals on brands like iBall, iPhone, Xiaomi, Samsung, Motorola, Lenovo, Honor and LG phones.

Up to 60% off on electronics like laptops, televisions, cameras and refrigerators.

Flipkart, which announced its 4th edition of the Big Billion Days sale a week in advance, will also begin its festive season sale on September 20 till September 24.

The company will be offering No Cost EMIs and a host of consumer financing programmes like Buy Back Guarantee and Buy Now Pay Later along with special offers for SBI Debit & Credit card holders.
