Since the launch of Reliance Jio, telecom tariff rates are falling substantially. The telecom service operator is also offering unlimited calls and 1.5 GB data per day. Airtel's new Rs 398 plan is offering 1.5 GB data per day and 105 GBs data for the period of 70 days.
The subscribers of the scene will also get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and 90 SMSes per day. However, Reliance Jio's prepaid recharge plan of Rs 398 is offering more data. Jio's plan offers 140 GBs of data with a daily cap of 2 GB. The plan also has other benefits like unlimited local, STD, roaming calls and 100 SMSes per day. Besides that the customers also can avail of complimentary subscription to Jio apps. Jio's Rs 398 plan is also valid for a period of 70 days.
According to Telecom Talk, the Airtel's Rs 398 recharge plan will be valid across all the 22 telecom circles in the country. Airtel is offering a prepaid plan of Rs 399 with 1.4 GB of data for long. The Rs. 399 plan also offers other benefits like unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day.
Airtel also offers various other competitive plans 199 for 28 days. The customers get 1.4 GB data per day and unlimited calling. On the other hand Jio's Rs 199 plan offers 2 GB data per day and it is valid for 28 days. Besides that it also offers 100 SMS per day. If users exhaust data limit, still they can use data at a throttled speed of 64kbps till the benefit is refreshed the next day.
