Airtel Postpaid rolls out new plan priced at 399; should you buy?

The country's largest telecom operator, Bharti Airtel, is offering a host of postpaid plans that include offers from Rs 399 to Rs 1,199. The new plans come with unlimited calling and rollover data facility, with many other additional benefits. 
 
Of these plans, Airtel's Rs 399 postpaid recharge plan in the midrange seems to be quite attractive for buyers. The plan offers unlimited calling, 20 GB 3G/4G data per month with a rollover facility. This provision enables a subscriber to carry forward the unused data in a billing cycle to the next one. Besides this, subscription of Wynk Music is also bundled with the Airtel plan.
 
Other postpaid plans of the telco are priced at Rs 499, Rs 649, Rs 799, and Rs 1,199. According to the company's website, airtel.in, these are among the company's best-selling postpaid plans. Airtel has recently revised its Rs 649 plan to offer additional data benefits with it. Let us have a look at these plans:

Rs 649 postpaid recharge plan offers unlimited calling, 90 GB 3G/4G data per month with a rollover facility, along with subscription of Wynk Music, Airtel TV and handset protection. Buyers also get one-year subscription of Amazon Prime, besides free add-on connection with unlimited calls. This plan comes with two connections.
 
Rs 799 postpaid recharge plan offers unlimited calling, 60 GB 3G/4G data per month with a rollover facility along with subscription of Wynk Music, Airtel TV and handset protection. Buyers also get one-year subscription of Amazon Prime and free add-on connection with unlimited calls, besides the benefit of having three connections.
