Airtel offers 28GB data, unlimited voice calls for Rs 345 to take on Reliance Jio
Telecom companies have begun the price wars once again to take on Reliance Jio.
To better compete the Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel has launched its new revamped plans to offer 1GB 4G data per day bundled with unlimited calls to counter Reliance Jio's prime plans. Airtel's new Rs 345 plan now offers 1GB of 4GB data per day along with local and STD voice calls free per month.
This 1GB data will be divide into 500MB on the day time and 500MB on night hours. The promotional offer is available for users with 4G handsets and is available before March 31. Those customers who opt for the plan before the expiry of the offer will be able to recharge the same offer for the next 11 months to get free data.
It has also modified its Rs 145 plan to now offer unlimited Airtel to Airtel local and national calls free and 2GB of data with a validity period of 28 days.
Even Vodafone and Idea Cellular have come up with their new plans with daily data and free unlimited voice calls for prepaid customers to compete with Reliance Jio.
Vodafone's new Rs 342 plan has unlimited calls for free and 28GB of data per month. This is subject to a limit of 1GB a day. The plan is valid only until March 15.
Idea, on the other hand, is offering unlimited free voice calls and 500 MB of data a data for 28 days at Rs 348. This offer is for non-data users with 4G handsets.
