Airtel introduces 10 GB data offer at Rs 259 on new 4G handsets
Following the ongoing cost-effective data pricing trend, Bharti Airtel announced on Wednesday that it will offer 10 gigabytes (GB) of 4G/3G data at Rs 259 to customers buying a new 4G mobile handset.
"Airtel is offering 10 GB 4G/3G data on a recharge of Rs 259 along with any new 4G handset," the company said in a press release.
Vodafone India on September 26 this year had announced a data offer wherein a customer connecting with a new 4G handset can avail the benefit of 10 GB data at the cost of 1 GB data for up to three months.
According to Bharti Airtel's release, 1 GB data will be instantly credited to the customer’s account and the additional 9 GB data can be claimed by the customer through MyAirtel App.
The latest offer of the company will be valid for 28 days and customers can avail a maximum of three recharges within 90 days on the offer.
“We are proud to have pioneered 4G network for users in India. This invitational offer has been designed for our data savvy customers who can now experience high speed broadband on Airtel’s 4G network with their new devices,” Bharti Airtel's director-market operations, Ajai Puri, said in a statement.
The data offer will be available across India and on all brands of 4G handsets.
Customers can avail the data offer on their 4G handsets within 30 days of purchase of the product.
