Airtel announces Monsoon Surprise, offers free data for three more months
Bharti Airtel on Saturday emailed its postpaid customers with a Monsoon Surprise offer that extended its earlier offer of 30GB for three months.

India’s telecom major, Bharti Airtel has extended its free data gift offer under its new Monsoon Surprise. The company had earlier offered 30GB for three months to postpaid customers for being recognised as India’s fastest network by Ookla.
The company sent out emailed statements to its customers on Saturday and said the offer would stand for another three months starting July 1, a report by Telecom Talk said.
Airtel had offered free 10GB data per month back in April after which the offer was extended by another month.
The telecom operator is calling it the ‘Monsoon Surprise’ in which customers will need to claim the offer on the My Airtel app after July 1 but has not specified the quantity of free data in the offer.
The offer is available for postpaid users only.
The last month of Reliance Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer has begun and operators have already geared up on promotional offers. Vodafone announced 45GB additional 4G data for five months on recharge of 1GB.
It also introduced SuperDay, SuperWeek and SuperNight plans for its customers during Ramazan.
Idea Cellular announced 70GB data pack for Rs 396 along with 300 minutes of free local and STD calling.
