Air India, a Tata Group aviation company has been awarded with Asia's Leading Airline Inflight Entertainment at the 31st annual World Travel Awards (WTA) held in Manila.

The WTA recognises excellence across the global travel and tourism industry, with winners selected through a voting process.

This is the first time an Indian airline has received this award, placing Air India alongside previous winners from elite global airlines.

The World Travel Awards, commonly referred to as the "Oscars of the travel industry," acknowledges and rewards excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.

Rajesh Dogra, Air India's Chief Customer Experience Officer said this award is a testimony of Air India’s commitment to providing our customers with the best inflight entertainment experience. "It reaffirms our commitment to the ongoing transformation of Air India into a world-class airline,” Dogra added.
