Air India Independence Day Sale: Flight tickets cheaper than trains! Domestic fare starts from Rs 990

Air India Independence Day Sale: Air India's regional arm Alliance Air is offering domestic air tickets at a starting price of Rs 990 for a limited period sale offer. During the Independence Day sale carnival, the passengers can experience the luxury of flying wit Alliance Air at a ticket price which is lower than train fares, the airline said in a tweet. 

The offer period started from August 3 and will continue till August 9, 2019. The travellers will be able to book tickets during the offer period for the travel period between August 3 and September 30, 2019, the airline said.

Currently, Alliance Air operates 110 flights per day to 53 destinations. Under the government's regional connectivity scheme Udan, it operates flights to Arunachal Pradesh, Mysuru, Diu, Kullu, Cochin, Pasighat, Shimla, Pantnagar, Kohlapur, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Gwalior, and Bikaner.

Air India is also offering cheaper tickets on the international destinations this rainy season. The airline offers 10 percent discount on its international flight tickets.  This offer will be available for economy and business class passengers.

The offer is available till August 10 and the passengers can book tickets through the airline’s website to avail the discount. The discounted fares will be available on select routes to the United Kingdom, Europe and Israel, the airline said on its website.
