Air India Goa – Mumbai flight makes emergency landing in Mumbai
There were casualties during the landing of the Air India aircraft, and the situation was brought under control as earliest as possible.
After facing a hydraulic failure, an Air India aircraft AI 662 carrying about 90 passengers from Goa to Mumbai, made an emergency landing at Mumbai airport.
A DNA report quoting an Air India spokesperson as saying, “The A-319 aircraft made emergency landing after hydraulic failure and subsequently all passengers were deboarded safely from the aircraft."
"A full emergency was declared on arriving aircraft Air India-662 due to hydraulic failure," the spokesperson reportedly said.
AI 662 aircraft made an emergency landing on the main runway Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, at around 8.10 PM and the emergency was withdrawn right after 15 minutes of the airline's safe landing, said the report.
Meanwhile, the situation was brought under control as the emergency took place.
