An IndiGo flight landed in a second attempt at the runway at the Delhi Airport on Tuesday. The national capital-bound flight, hailing from Ahmedabad in Gujarat, reapproached the runway after failing to land safely on the first attempt, according to sources.

The incident took place on the runway at Terminal 3 (T3) of the airport when the flight took off shortly after the touchdown, creating havoc among the passengers on board. 

The flight landed safely about 20 minutes after the failed attempt, the sources said. 

"It was a go-around... Landed in the second attempt," the airline said.
