Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Ltd has increased its stake in Hero MotorCorp.
The company acquired 84,27,749 shares on Monday bringing the total shares it holds in Hero MotoCorp to a total of 1,59,29,702 shares across all mandates, it said in a BSE filing.
This is equivalent to 7.9773% of the company's issued shares of which 6.4596% are shares where Aberdeen has control over the voting rights.
