Abbott India announces Rs 410/share dividend
The dividend was subject to the approval of shareholders at the company's upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to take place on August 8.
Pharmaceutical company Abbott India on Thursday announced a final dividend of Rs 410 per share for the January-March period, a 4,100 per cent payout given the face value of Rs 10 per share.
The dividend was subject to the approval of shareholders at the company's upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to take place on August 8.
If approved by shareholders, the final dividend for FY24 will be disbursed on or after August 13, the drug maker said. Abbott states that this announcement is for informational purposes and record-keeping.
Abbott India shares ended 1.5 per cent weaker at Rs 25,557.1 apiece on BSE before the announcement.
Meanwhile, Abbott India also reported its financial results for the fourth and final quarter of the financial year 2023-24.
