HCL Tech Q4 results, dividend 2023: HCL Technologies (HCLTECH) — India's third largest IT firm after Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys — reported a 2.8 per cent quarter-on-quarter decline in net profit to Rs 3,983 crore for the January-March period. The quarterly net profit was better than analysts' estimates. The HCL Tech board announced a dividend of Rs 18 per share and confirmed an already announced record date of April 28.
HCL Tech's Q4 earnings come at a time when India's IT companies are struggling against shrinking margins, owing to sticky levels of attrition leading to higher employee costs, despite robust demand. TCS and Infosys reported muted sets of Q4 results this month.
