With the completion of two years of operation in Mumbai, Uber listed the number of feats it has achieved which has the city for the better.

Some of the feats it claims to have achieved include:

  • Reducing the average Uber expected time of arrival (ETA) to 6 minutes from previously 8.
  • The company has helped finance vehicles for over 10,000 drivers in Mumbai.
  • Uber has created 75,000 new job opportunities along with the Maharashtra Government.
  • The Sea Link has generated a total toll revenue of Rs 5.28 crore on Uber rides.
  • Around 35% of their driver partners base was previously auto or regular taxi drivers.
  • Uber and the Mumbai Traffic Police collaborated to create the Uber Breathalyser campaign after 3,460 driving under the influence (DUI) cases were reported in December 2015.
  • Uber drivers also returned 30,246 items lost by customers during their ride.
  • It also raising Rs 4 lakh in funds to provide water and food to 80 drought-hit villages in Maharashtra.
  • Uber was the trusted ride to the hospital for a mother during labour in Mumbai.

Apart from the number of achievements, Uber also created a video to reflect the beauty of the city and the fact-paced life of the people live in it.
