Year-ender 2021: Over 235 km Range E-Scooter with 100 km/h top-speed - Check these electric bikes, scooters with longest battery range launched

Launched on 15th August 2021, the Simple One electric scooter will have a 4.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, which will provide a range of 240 km on a single charge in Eco mode. It has already been reported that its battery is detached from the scooter, which will make it easier to charge. Its maximum speed is 100 kilometers per hour, while in just 3.5 seconds it can accelerate from 0 to 50 kilometers.

The Ola electric price starts at Rs 99,999, and the S1 Pro starts at Rs 1,29,999. In states with active subsidy grants, the Ola S1 will be much more affordable than many petrol scooters. After state subsidy in Delhi, the S1 would cost just Rs 85,099, whereas in Gujarat it would be only Rs 79,999. Ola has mentioned that the Electric Scooter has features like automatic routing through charging stations en route, a smart charging system that’s fully automated to charge without the need for a card or cash, and a connected app to keep an eye on the charging status. The electric-powered motor generates a torque of 58Nm. Ola S1 receives Disc brakes withinside the front and rear. The kerb weight of S1 is 125Kg. Ola S1 has Tubeless Tyre and Aluminium Alloy Wheels. Ola S1 Pro electric Two-wheeler has 8500 W Motor power, 181km range, 125kg kerb weight, and 1160mm seat height.

Hero Electric's Nyx HX is a more practical escutator with a seriously boxy design. It has ample legroom and a flat passenger seat that folds down to store luggage. Most importantly, it gives a 165 km range before being discharged by double 51.2 V / 30 Ah batteries. The top speed is 42 KM/H, and gets fully charged in 4-5 hours. The ex-showroom price is Rs 67,540.

Launched in August this year, the EBikeGo Rugged G1 is an electric moto-scooter, and the price starts from Rs 89,998. Rugged is powered by a 3kW motor that can achieve speeds of up to 70 km/h. It comes with a 2x2 kWh battery that can be replaced. The batteries offer a range of 160 kilometres and charge in 3.5 hours. It has a 30-liter storage capacity.

Okinawa has been around for a long time and has a thriving dealer network across the country. Of the five scooters sold, iPraise has the longest battery life at around 139 km. This is achieved with a 3.3 kWh lithium-ion battery powering a 1 kW BLDC motor capable of generating maximum power of 2.5 kW. The iPraise costs over Rs 105,990 (ex-showroom price).
