Volkswagen Taigun SUV Special Edition: The automaker Volkswagen launched a new Special Edition of its Taigun SUV in India on Thursday, September 8, to commemorate its one year in the country. The celebratory First Anniversary Edition of the Taigun SUV is available at all Volkswagen showrooms across the country, as per the company said.

The car is available in two engine options - 1.0L TSI engine and 1.5L TSI EVO engine. It is powered by the globally acclaimed TSI technology.

The introductory price of the variant with 1.0L TSI MT is Rs 15.40 lakh. Whereas the introductory price of the variant with 1.0L TSI AT is Rs 16.90 lakh. The company is also offering Anniversary Kit worth Rs 29,999.

The 1.0L TSI engine option delivers peak power of 115PS (85 kW) ranging from 5000 to 5500 rpm and peak torque of 178 Nm@1750-4500 rpm. Whereas the 1.5L TSI EVO engine delivers peak power of 150PS (110 kW) from 5000 to 6000 rpm range and peak torque of 250Nm@1600-3500 rpm.
