Defender Octa Launched in India: Tata Motors-owned British luxury car manufacturer Land Rover has unveiled the latest and most powerful addition to the Defender family, the Defender Octa. This high-performance SUV has been introduced in the Indian market ahead of its debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, scheduled from August 11-14. While the vehicle has been showcased, Land Rover will soon open the booking and delivery windows for enthusiasts.
Engine in Defender Octa
The Defender Octa boasts a 4.4-liter twin-turbo mild hybrid V8 engine, delivering an impressive 467 kW of maximum power and 750 Newton meters of torque. In dynamic mode, the torque can be increased to 800 Newton meters. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and is capable of navigating through water up to 1 meter deep.
