Global NCAP Rating: In the latest Global NCAP rating list, two Maruti Suzuki cars scored the lowest safety rating. While Volkswagen and Skoda top the list with maximum ratings.
Global NCAP Rating: Global NCAP is a flagship program of the Towards Zero Foundation with the goal of reducing road deaths and serious injuries by 2030. Towards Zero Foundation is a UK-based charity working internationally in support of the new UN Decade of Action for Road Safety.
Global NCAP rates vehicles from zero to five based on their safety features and automobiles with a higher rating are considered safer for occupants. In their latest list, two Maruti Suzuki cars scored the lowest safety rating. While Volkswagen and Skoda top the list with maximum ratings.

Maruti Suzuki AltoK 10
As per the Global NCAP's latest round of crash tests, the Maruti Suzuki India's AltoK 10 secured two-star for adult occupant protection and zero stars for child occupant protection.

Volkswagen Virtus
Skoda Slavia
According to the Global NCAP, Skoda Slavia achieved a five-star rating for adult and child occupants showing a stable structure. "The highest safety rating from Global NCAP for the Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus further cements the Group's position as the leading European car manufacturer with the safest portfolio of cars in India," Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Managing Director and CEO Piyush Arora said in a statement.
