Mahindra Thar 2020: In a bid to maximise advantage of Unlock 5 guidelines being implemented across India, Mahindra launched its much-awaited second-generation Thar 2020. In fact, booking for Mahindra Thar 2020 has also begun from 2nd October 2020 and delivery will start from 1st November 2020. The brand-new second-generation Mahindra Thar 2020 is available in two variants and its initial price is Rs 9.8 lakh in India. Mahindra has launched two variants of the Mahindra Thar with features of 2 liter Turbo Petrol Engine and 2.2 Liter Turbo Diesel Engine.

Mahindra Thar price
Mahindra Thar 2020 price starts from Rs 9.80 lakh and can go up to Rs 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom price). As mentioned above, Mahindra Thar is available in both petrol and diesel fuel engine its petrol fueled variant Mahindra Thar AX starts at Rs 9.8 lakh and goes up to Rs 12.2 lakh (all ex-showroom price).

Its diesel fueled variant Thar luxury-focused LX variant price starts from Rs 12.49 lakh for the hard-top convertible petrol and goes up to Rs 12.95 lakh for the diesel (all ex-showroom price).

Mahindra Thar features
The brand-new second-generation Mahindra Thar 2020 comes with all new exteriors and interiors. The Mahindra SUV would feature BSVI compliant petrol and diesel powertrains mated to six speed manual and automatic transmissions. It has four-wheel drive option too. According to the auto experts, its USP (Unique Sale Proposition) is Off-roader Vehicle.

While the diesel motor will generate 120 HP of power, the petrol Thar will see an output of 150 HP of hauling strength.

The first unit of brand-new second-generation Mahindra Thar was sold in an auction at a whopping Rs 1.10 crore and the winner was Akash Minda from Delhi.
