TVS Apache sale crosses 3 million mark, says TVS Motors
TVS Motor has been rolling out the Apache-series models from its Hosur plant.
The manufacturer of two-wheelers and threewheelers, TVS Motor Company today said that its premium motorcycle brand, TVS Apache has crossed a sales milestone of 3 million units. The TVS Apache was launched in 2005.
The company has been rolling out the Apache-series models from its Hosur plant.
Commenting on the development, K N Radhakrishnan, President & Chief Executive Officer, TVS Motor Company, said “I want to express my gratitude to all our valued customers both in India and across the globe. Through the years, TVS Apache has stood for providing an unrivalled experience backed by its rich racing pedigree, technological firsts and stylish design. The brand has, over a decade, developed a host of premium offerings, ranging from 160cc to 310cc, creating aspiration along every step of evolution".
The company has recently launched two new bikes, namely the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and TVS Apache RR 310.
"TVS Apache spans across two categories – Naked and Super Sports. The RTR (Race Throttle Response) series, encompassing TVS Apache RTR 160, TVS Apache RTR 180, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0, and the recently launched TVS Apache RTR 160 4V are the existing offerings in the Naked motorcycles category. On the Super Sport front, the brand introduced TVS Apache RR 310 as their first entrant into the RR (Race Replica) category," said the company.
TVS Motor Company had launched its new 110cc motorbike Radeon on August 23. The two-wheeler has been priced at Rs 48,400 ex-showroom in Delhi.

The shares of the firm were each trading at Rs 586.90 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, down by 3.65 points on Monday.
