Triumph unveils Daytona 660: From engine to riding modes, check out key features here
Positioned to compete with popular models like the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and Honda CBR 650R, the Triumph Daytona 660 offers a robust 660 cc engine, promising an exciting addition to the Indian automotive market.
British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has globally revealed the all-new Daytona 660. The triple powered middleweight sports motorbike is set to compete with a range of models by rival manufacturers, including the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and the Honda CBR 650R.
The all-new Daytona 660 boasts 17 per cent more power and nine per cent additional torque than the Triumph Trident, and will come with a brand-new exhaust.
“Featuring a significant evolution of Triumph’s distinctive and unique 660cc triple engine, now with 95PS peak power and 69Nm of peak torque, the Daytona 660 provides a smooth, responsive and linear delivery with the perfect combination of low-down torque, mid-range and top-end power,” the company said on its website.

Engine
Triumph Daytona 660 offers a robust 660 cc engine, promising an exciting addition to the Indian automotive market. It is a liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine, capable of delivering a maximum power of 95 PS at 11,250 rpm and a peak torque of 69 Nm at 8,250 rpm, according to Triumph.
Price
The auto maker is yet to announce the price of the upcoming motorcycle.
Transmission
The all-new Daytona 660 features a six-speed gearbox with a wet, multi-plate, slip, and assist clutch.
Braking
Fitted with dual-channel ABS technology, the upcoming motorcycle comes with a 310 mm front disc and a single 220 mm rear disc.
Design and display
Available in three color options, the Daytona 660 boasts full LED headlights and a TFT display, including smartphone connectivity.
Riding modes
The bike offers three distinct riding modes: Sport, Road and Rain.
Fuel capacity and weight
With a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters and a weight of 201 kg.
