Tata Safari and Harrier gets a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test

The latest Tata Safari and Harrier have achieved a 5-star rating in the GNCAP crash test. These two SUVs have notched an impressive 33.05 points in the adult occupant protection assessment, which is just shy of the maximum 34 points. In the child occupant protection category, they have secured a commendable 45 points out of a possible 49.

The SUVs come equipped with a dual-zone climate control system that can be managed through voice commands. Within the central console, there's a newly added dial for selecting drive modes and an electric parking brake switch.

Safety

Safety has been the USP of Tata vehicles, and the new Harrier and new Safari are no exception. The facelifted vehicles come equipped with a robust safety system, offering seven airbags. Both models feature connected LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and tail lamps, similar to the ones seen on the latest model of Nexon.

The front grille has also undergone an update, complemented by an air dam and a sleek black skid plate.

2023 Tata Harrier

The new Harrier facelift offers a modern 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo. A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system is coupled with a 10.25-inch digital driver display, offering a futuristic driving experience. The front end has a parametric grille, accompanied by a split headlight setup with BI-LED headlights and end-to-end connected LED DRLs. It now sports 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Harrier, in particular, showcases a redesigned layout for its HVAC controls, featuring a touch-based climate control panel reminiscent of the one found in the Tata Nexon.

2023 Tata Safari

The Safari features 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The interior features a 4-spoke steering wheel with Tata's illuminated logo. There's a 12.3-inch touchscreen on offer, along with a touch-based infotainment system and climate control and a 10.25-inch digital driver display.
