The Nexon has been a top choice among Indian SUV buyers since its launch in 2017, standing out for its stylish design, emphasis on safety, and best-in-class features. With over 700,000 units sold in seven years, Tata Motors continues to build on this success with strategic upgrades to meet evolving customer needs.

Speaking at the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, "Nexon’s popularity has steadily increased, driven by well-timed and innovative technological upgrades, and today's new launches further enhance its appeal. These additions take forward Tata Motors’ successful multi-powertrain strategy, ensuring there’s a Nexon for every need.”

Nexon iCNG: India’s First Turbocharged CNG Vehicle

The Nexon iCNG is a milestone in the Indian auto market as the country’s first turbocharged CNG vehicle. It is powered by a 1.2L turbocharged engine delivering 100PS and 170NM of torque, offering uncompromised performance. The Nexon iCNG also features Tata Motors' innovative twin-cylinder technology, maximizing practicality with a class-leading boot space of 321 liters.

In addition to performance, the Nexon iCNG comes packed with premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, leatherette ventilated seats, a 10.25” infotainment screen by Harman™, and a fully digital instrument cluster. It also boasts advanced safety features like leak detection, fire protection, and a 5-star G-NCAP-rated architecture.

Nexon.ev 45kWh: Enhanced Range and Premium Appeal

The Nexon.ev now comes with a 45kWh battery pack, offering faster charging and an impressive range of 350-370 km under real-world conditions. This new addition is aimed at addressing a key barrier to EV adoption – range anxiety – while offering customers a high-value, eco-friendly driving experience.

Adding to its premium appeal, Tata Motors also introduced the Red Hot #DARK edition of the Nexon.ev. With red-themed inserts throughout the interior and exterior, a panoramic sunroof, and a host of other premium features like Arcade.ev and Vehicle to Load technology, this variant targets customers seeking exclusivity and luxury.

With these new additions, Tata Motors continues to solidify the Nexon’s position as a versatile and innovative choice in the Indian SUV market.
