Tata Curvv and Curvv.ev earn 5-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings just two months after launch

Tata Motors' latest offerings, the Tata Curvv and Curvv.ev, have achieved top-tier safety recognition, making them standout choices for safety-conscious buyers. Both models, which debuted in August 2024, have now been awarded 5-star safety ratings by Bharat NCAP, following crash tests conducted just two months post-launch.

Tata Curvv.ev: Impressive Safety Scores

The Tata Curvv.ev received a 5-star rating, excelling in both adult and child occupant protection. In adult occupant protection, the electric SUV scored 29.50 out of 32 points, while in child occupant protection, it secured 43.66 out of 49 points. These strong results underscore Tata Motors' commitment to passenger safety.

Comprehensive Side and Front Safety Tests

The Curvv.ev underwent rigorous safety tests, including assessments from both front and side impacts. Key safety features include frontal airbags, side head and chest airbags, ISOFIX anchor points for child seats, and seat belt reminders, ensuring top-notch protection for all occupants.

Tata Curvv Petrol Variant Also Shines

Not only the electric model, but the petrol variant of the Tata Curvv also earned a 5-star safety rating. The petrol Curvv scored 30.81 out of 32 in adult occupant protection and 44.83 out of 49 in child protection, cementing its status as one of Tata’s safest vehicles. Similar to its electric counterpart, the petrol Curvv is equipped with advanced safety features like airbags and ISOFIX mounts.

Tata Motors' Continued Safety Leadership

With these latest ratings, Tata Motors continues to solidify its reputation for building some of the safest cars on Indian roads. The Tata Nexon, a longstanding leader in safety, has also maintained its 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP.
