The patents are aimed at facilitating grid service optimisation through a battery energy storage system and effectively channel renewable energy into BESS for maximum value, enabling the transition to sustainable energy.

"These innovations will transform energy management and will improve overall efficiency," the company said in a statement.

"Both of these cutting-edge technologies possess applicability across a broad spectrum of fields, including solar and electric vehicle charging systems. The technologies are covered under two pending applications," it added.

The first patent which is titled: "System and Method for Controlling Load Shifting by Third Party", is related to a system and method for enabling third-party entities to control load shifting in a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

"System and Method for Effective Energy Channelization from a Renewable Energy Source", the second patent, is related to a system and method for effectively channelling energy from a renewable energy source, such as solar or wind, into a BESS.

"These technologies epitomize significant advancements in the realm of energy management, poised to be pivotal in making a significant contribution toward a cleaner and more sustainable energy future," Arun Handa, Chief Technology Officer at Servotech, said in a statement.

Servotech Power Systems develops tech-enabled EV charging solutions. It manufactures EV chargers, solar products and other items. Last week, it signed an agreement with IIT-Roorkee to develop onboard e-chargers for battery-operated two, three and four-wheelers.

Its shares are listed on the National Stock Exchange. Its shares closed in red on Monday at Rs 75.
