The new Flying Flea brand takes inspiration from the original 'Royal Enfield Flying Flea' motorcycle, which was a significant innovation in automotive engineering and design, according to the company. Developed during the 1940s for use in World War II, these lightweight motorcycles were airdropped using parachutes due to their compact size. Over time, the Flying Flea became popular for civilian use and was embraced for its versatility.

With the launch of Flying Flea, Royal Enfield aims to carry forward the spirit of innovation and adaptability, while tapping into the growing demand for electric motorcycles. The new models promise to blend the legacy of the original Flying Flea with cutting-edge electric technology, setting the stage for Royal Enfield’s future in the EV space.
