Revolt RV1 Launched in India: Revolt Motors has made a significant leap with the introduction of its latest model - the Revolt RV1 in the Indian market. This new addition targets the commuter segment, a crucial part of the Indian two-wheeler market, which sees over 80 lakh motorcycles sold annually.
The Revolt RV1, available at an introductory price of Rs 84,990, and its premium variant, the RV1+, priced at Rs 99,990, are set to revolutionize daily commuting with their affordability and cutting-edge features. These models promise ownership costs up to three times lower than conventional petrol motorcycles, making electric mobility more accessible, according to the company.
The RV1 comes with impressive specifications, including a 250 kg payload capacity and broad tyres for enhanced stability. Its powerful mid-motor and chain drive system delivers smooth acceleration and a pleasant ride. Safety is prioritized with dual disc brakes and multiple speed modes, including a reverse mode, a first for its category.
For enhanced rider experience, the RV1 features a 6-inch digital LCD display for real-time data, stylish LED lights, and built-in charger storage. With fast-charging capabilities, the RV1+ can reach a full charge in just 1.5 hours. Riders can choose between a 2.2 kWh battery offering a 100 km range or a 3.24 kWh battery extending the range to 160 km, both of which are IP67-rated for water resistance.
Comfort and versatility are central to the RV1’s design. It boasts the longest seat in its category and advanced suspension for a smooth ride, making it ideal for families and daily commuters.
Additionally, Revolt Motors is enhancing its flagship RV400 with features like a new fast charger, reverse mode, improved safety elements, and an extended range of 160 km.
