Porsche opens booking for 2018 Cayenne in India

Luxury car maker Porsche is all set to bring its 2018 Cayenne on Indian roads, as the company has started bookings at its dealership across the country.
The 2018 Cayenne launched a few months back is presently available in international markets.
Porsche defines Cayenne as a vehicle which can provide sports car lovers greater freedom in a breath-taking style. It comes in an aluminium body with a new, dynamic design and a new generation of efficient, turbocharged engines.
The new car comes in two variants of Cayenne and Cayenne S, and both the variants are expected to have 6-cylinder petrol engines.
The first version with 3.0-litre motor on the standard version churns out 340PS of power and 450Nm of torque, while the S version gets a 2.9-litre twin-turbo engine delivering 440PS and 550Nm.
Porsche is also expected to offer the optional Sport Chrono Package.

Once launched in India, the Cayenne will compete against Audi Q7, BMW X5, Jaguar F-Pace and Mercedes-Benz GLE.
As per CarDekho.com, 2018 Cayenne is expected to be priced between Rs 1.10 crore and Rs 1.30 crore.
