Ola Electric has informed that with its homegrown MoveOS, the customers can not only alter the look and feel of the display but also how the scooter sounds.

It will have four moods - Bolt, Care, Vintage and Wonder, and will offer a customised vehicle sound experience that matches the customer’s mood of the day. It will also come with three driving modes - Normal, Sport, and Hyper for personalising the ride.  

The company has introduced a lot of safety features, which are rare in the two-wheeler segment. Ola S1 has an anti-theft alert system, geo-fencing, and a battery, which is flame-retardant and water and dust resistant. It also has front and rear disc brakes and a ‘Hill Hold’ feature, which makes riding in traffic and navigating inclines easy.  

The 110/70 R12 tyres, rear mono-shock suspension and front single fork suspension leads to much superior road grip and riding experience. The e-scooter has a cruise mode that makes riding comfortable and convenient and a reverse mode that makes it easy to park and exit tight spaces, the company.  

With a robust grab rail for safety, a side step and sculpted seating, pillion riders too will love how comfortable their ride will be, the company has informed. The scooters also come with voice recognition that enables you to complete your key tasks quickly without having to bother with navigating the menu. 

Ola Electric has started adding estimated delivery dates for all purchases in Ola App. After receiving an overwhelming response in its two-day sales, Ola Electric decided to reopen the purchase window again on 1st November. The company will start delivering across 1,000 cities and towns in October this year.   

The electric two-wheeler made a business worth Rs 1,100 core in two days since Wednesday (15th September), when the purchase window was opened.  

The e-scooter can be booked easily and exclusively on the Ola App. The firm announced in July that its electric scooter had received a record-breaking 100,000 reservations within the first 24 hours, making it the most pre-booked scooter in the world.  

Similarly, Ola Electric earlier tweeted that the delivery will be made on first serve, first reserved basis! The company is also providing an EMI plan starting at Rs 2,999. The Ola electric scooter was launched in two variants – Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro on 15th August.

The Ola electric price starts at Rs 99,999, and the S1 Pro starts at Rs 1,29,999. In states with active subsidy grants, the Ola S1 will be much more affordable than many petrol scooters. After state subsidy in Delhi, the S1 would cost just Rs 85,099, whereas in Gujarat it would be only Rs 79,999.    

The reservation and position in the purchase queue will not change as it is made on first serve, first reserved basis! “Our delivery dates also remain unchanged,” he mentioned.  

At the beginning of this week, the e-scooter maker tied up with Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, IndusInd Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, Jana Small Finance Bank, Kotak Mahindra Prime, TATA Capital and YES Bank for providing easy loans to customers for its S1 electric scooter.
