Ola Electric expands network with 500th service centre launch in Kochi

Ola Electric has inaugurated its 500th service centre in Kochi, Kerala. This move marks a significant milestone for the company's rapid expansion strategy aimed at enhancing its service reach across the country. Notably, the newly opened facility in Kochi stands as the largest service centre operated by Ola Electric in the state of Kerala.

According to a spokesperson from Ola, the focus on augmenting customer satisfaction and ownership experience remains paramount for the company. The establishment of a comprehensive service network spanning India enables Ola to address customer service needs promptly and efficiently.

"Our 500th service centre in Kochi underscores our commitment to delivering on our service promises to customers," stated the Ola spokesperson. "We remain steadfast in our efforts to fortify our after-sales and service network throughout India."

In addition to expanding its service footprint, Ola Electric recently ventured into the sub-Rs 80,000 scooter segment, introducing new pricing for its S1 X portfolio. The S1 X lineup, available in three battery configurations – 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh – is now priced starting from Rs 69,999 (introductory price) for the base model, with prices for higher configurations set at Rs 84,999 and Rs 99,999, respectively. Ola Electric has announced that deliveries of the S1 X range will commence next week.

While the prices for S1 X plus, S1 Air, and S1 Pro models remain unchanged at Rs 84,999, Rs 1.05 lakh, and Rs 1.30 lakh, respectively, Ola Electric is offering an extended 8-year/80,000 km battery warranty as standard across its product range. Customers also have the option to purchase add-on warranties, extending the coverage up to 1 lakh km at Rs 4,999 and up to 1.25 lakh km at Rs 12,999.

Furthermore, Ola Electric has introduced a portable 3kW fast charger accessory priced at Rs 29,999, providing customers with added convenience and flexibility for charging their electric scooters.
