Skoda Superb 2024 launched: What's new in the 2024 Skoda Superb?
The 2024 Skoda Superb for India comes as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) import, rather than being locally manufactured. With its price set at Rs 54 lakh, this fully imported version now stands at a premium of Rs 16.71 lakh over its predecessor, which was discontinued in April the previous year. In comparison, its direct competitor, the Toyota Camry sedan, starts at Rs 46.17 lakh (ex-showroom) and features a petrol-hybrid powertrain.

Moreover, the Indian variant of the 2024 Superb is equipped with a 9-inch Columbus Infotainment system, a feature absent in its previous iteration.

The Skoda Superb is powered by a BS6 Phase II-compliant 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, delivering 190hp and 320Nm of torque. This powertrain, maintained at the same state of tune as before, is coupled with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

While the reintroduced Superb caters to the higher end of the market, Skoda has further plans in store. The company is set to introduce an all-new compact SUV, positioned to compete with popular models like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet.
