Honda Motors today launched its New Honda Amaze which is laden with a stylish new look, striking exteriors and enhanced interiors, the company has mentioned.  

The new model will come with a hike in its price. While the outgoing car is priced from Rs 6.32 lakh to Rs 11.15 lakh (ex-showroom), expect a slight rise of about Rs 20,000. Honda City will introduce a new grille, a different design for the alloy wheels, LED headlights and more. Inside, the upholstery is expected to get a revision whereas the instrument console too might get a new backlight. There are also talks of a sunroof but then we believe Honda could skip this as none of the sub-4m sedans today have this expensive feature. 

The new Amaze will be available in 5 colours, including Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic. The new Amaze gets the options of the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel powerplants. The Amaze in its petrol form will make 88 hp and 110 Nm. A CVT and five-speed manual transmissions will be on offer.  

The Amaze diesel will boast a first-in-segment CVT and a five-speed manual transmission. This engine makes 80 hp and 160 Nm with the CVT, whereas the manual makes 100 hp and 200 Nm.  

It comes with a standard warranty of 3 years for unlimited kilometres. Dual airbags. News Amaze S grade. The New Amaze Petrol variant will have the Manual VX, S options and the CVT (Automatic) variant will include VX, S.

The delivery of the new Amaze will begin immediately after the launch. This is the New Honda Amaze: Minor Model Change. The New Amaze has all the qualities of One Class above Sedan, it said. The prices will be announced on the launch date. The cabin of the New Amaze extends the external gorgeousness inside and continues to astound. It has included the premium stitching on the seats and the luxurious ergonomics of an elegantly laid-out cockpit, the company said.

Honda Amaze, currently in its 2nd Generation, is Honda’s largest selling model and enjoys a diverse customer base in India. The Honda Amaze is powered by 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine and 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine available in Manual and CVT versions for both fuel options. 

The New Amaze can be booked at all authorized Honda dealerships across the country.
