In the lead-up to Diwali, Mercedes-Benz India has announced the launch of two new models in the country — Mercedes-Benz GLE facelift and the AMG C 43 sedan. The Mercedes-Benz GLE facelift is priced at Rs 96.4 lakh (ex-showroom) and Mercedes-Benz AMG C 43 sedan is priced at Rs 98 lakh (showroom). These introductions have expanded the range of SUVs and performance cars offered by the German automaker.

Filling the gap between the GLC and GLS models in India, the GLE was globally introduced in February and has now made its debut in the Indian market. With prices ranging from Rs 96.4 lakh to Rs 1.15 crore (ex-showroom), the SUV offers an updated bumper design, revamped headlights and taillights, as well as fresh alloy wheel designs. Inside, it presents new color options, upholstery choices, touch-sensitive controls, and an updated MBUX infotainment system.

For the Indian market, the Mercedes-Benz GLE provides petrol, diesel, and hybrid engine options distributed among its various SUV variants.

Mercedes-AMG C 43: Specifications

The AMG C 43 sedan comes with distinctive AMG design elements such as vertical slat grilles, sizable air intakes, gloss-black mirrors, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it contains AMG-specific visual graphics on an 11.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the interior features a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, sports seats, pedals, and red seat belts.

Powering the AMG C 43 is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine equipped with an electric turbocharger that generates 402 hp and 500 Nm of torque, supplemented by an extra 13 hp boost. This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox for smooth performance.
