Indian subsidiary of the German luxury car maker Mercedes Benz has expanded local production portfolio of its Pune located manufacturing unit with the addition of AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe. The new Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe, which is priced at Rs 76.70 lakhs (all prices are ex-showroom, India) will be the first AMG model to be assembled locally at Mercedes’ Chakan plant.

The company now locally manufactures 11 models in India. Mercedes-Benz offers the most comprehensive SUV portfolio in the luxury car segment with 8 SUVs and SUV Coupes. 

The expansive GLC range is now available in 200, 220 d, GLC 300 Coupe, 300 d Coupe and AMG 43 Coupé variants. 

Mercedes Benz India is also offering STAR EASE service packages for the new GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe which starts at Rs 85,000 for 2 years/unlimited kms. 

Mercedes Benz AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe comprises 3.0-litre, turbo-petrol V6 engine which is capable of producing 390hp and 520Nm of peak torque. The four-wheel drive vehicle has a 9-speed automatic gearbox and an AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system with a rear-biased setup. 

The Coupe is endowed with five drive-modes with flexibility to switch between transmission, steering and suspension. 

As for the interiors, the AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe is provided with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch MBUX touchscreen infotainment system. It also has a Burmester audio system. It also has three AMG-specific display styles viz. Classic, Sport, and Supersport.
