Maruti Suzuki launches the Swift S-CNG, offering best-in-segment fuel efficiency, enhanced features, and robust safety options. Details inside.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched the S-CNG variant of one of the company's best-selling car, the New Swift, bringing a blend of style, performance, and remarkable fuel efficiency. With an fuel economy of 32.85 km/kg, the Swift S-CNG solidifies its position as India's most fuel-efficient premium hatchback in its segment, the company claims.
The Swift S-CNG showcases the design elements of the Swift lineup, highlighted by its bold wraparound character line, which gives the car a sporty, premium identity. Powered by the Z-series Dual VVT engine, it delivers a maximum torque of 101.8 Nm @ 2900 rpm and emits low CO2, making it a considerable deal for city driving.
To cater to different customer preferences, Maruti Suzuki is offering the new Swift S-CNG in three variants—V, V(O), and Z—each paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This is an upgrade from the previous generation, which had only two trims available.
Developed and tested at Maruti Suzuki's research and development facility, the Swift S-CNG combines engaging performance with class-leading fuel efficiency. The model comes equipped with safety features like six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Hill Hold Assist. It also offers modern conveniences such as automatic climate control, a rear AC vent, wireless charging, 60:40 split rear seats, and a 7-inch Smart Play Pro infotainment system with Suzuki Connect.
Customers can also opt for the Swift S-CNG through the Maruti Suzuki Subscribe program, with a monthly subscription fee starting at Rs 21,628. This subscription covers registration, service, maintenance, insurance, and roadside assistance, offering a hassle-free way to drive home a new car.
