A notable trend in the bookings reveals that 83 percent of customers have opted for manual variants. Among these, the VXi trim stands out, capturing nearly 50 percent of bookings in both manual and AMT configurations. Impressively, post-launch, the Swift has already exceeded 19,000 units sold in India.

Available in five variants—LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi Plus—the Maruti Suzuki Swift is powered by a new Z-series 1.2-liter three-cylinder NA petrol engine, paired with either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. While the engine boasts improved fuel efficiency, the power output has been adjusted to 80bhp and 112Nm of peak torque.
