Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018: New version priced at Rs 4.99 lakh

Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018: The all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018, which has been launched at a starting price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) at Auto Expo 2018, is available in four variants each - L, V, Z and Z+, with both the petrol and diesel engines. The Swift 2018 price is in the bracket of Rs 4.99 lakh - Rs 8.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new car's engine and power output remain unchanged, and it is now available with a 5-speed automatic transmission (AMT) along with the manual version. The new Swift AMT prices range between Rs 6.34 lakh and Rs 7.96 lakh. Mileage of the 2018 Swift car has reportedly gone up due to its lighter weight, and the ARAI-certified figures now read 22kmpl and 28.4kmpl for petrol and diesel, respectively.
 
The new Maruti Swift also boasts of several new features including auto LED projector headlamps with daytime running LEDs, tail lamps with LED brake lights and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, besides flaunting safety features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, and Isofix child seat anchors. 
 
The price of Maruti Swift 2018 in New Delhi start at Rs 4.99 Lakh. The lowest price model is Maruti Swift 2018 LXI, while the most priced version of Maruti Swift 2018 ZDI Plus stands at Rs 8.29 Lakh. 
 
The key features of Maruti Swift 2018 make it different from other variants. Swift 2018 Diesel engine specification includes an engine of 1248cc, which musters up a torque measuring to 190Nm@2000rpm and maximum power of 74bhp@4000rpm, while Swift 2018 top model provides an overall mileage of around 14.2 kmpl, with a fuel efficiency within a city of 0.0 kmpl and on highways the mileage stands out as 28.4 kmpl, cardekho added.
