Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the next variant of its popular car S-Cross car. This model is equipped with a new petrol engine and it has been upgraded to BS VI version. It is noteworthy that the company has made changes to increase the performance, however, no alterations have been made in the looks of the car from inside or outside.
This new premium cross-over S-Cross has a 1.5-litre petrol engine which is based on smart hybrid technology. The new S-Cross has four variants viz Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Sigma variant is manual while all the remaining three variants are available in manual and automatic versions.

The new S-Cross is also being offered in five colours. In terms of features, the Alpha variant is quite attractive. If the customers are looking for a fully loaded car then you can opt for the top Alpha variant. The S-Cross variant offers a 7 inch touchscreen panel which comprises of an infotainment system. It supports Android Auto and Apple’s carplay applications.
The manual S-Cross variants give a mileage of 18.55 km per litre while the automatic variants give a mileage of 18.43 km per litre.
Maruti Suzuki in 2017 gave a facelift to the variants by making cosmetic changes and those changes have been retained in the new versions. The front has vertical slate chrome grill like before. Right beside it are auto LED lamps. The car also has a 16 inch alloy wheels. The new variants have auto headlamp and wiper with a big boot space.

The new S-Cross has also put some additional features in some variants which includes sensors for reverse car parking. This car also has a Suzuki connect feature which allows the owner to keep a track on the vehicle through the smart phone. The new S-Cross petrol variant is priced between Rs 8.39 lakh and Rs 12.39 lakh.
