Maruti Suzuki: Next-Gen Ertiga bookings open; launch next week

The Indian automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday announced the commencement of bookings for the upcoming new generation version of its multi purpose vehicle, Ertiga. Interested customers can pre-book the car at a token amount of Rs 11,000.

The new-generation Ertiga will be unveiled next week. It is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine with clever hybrid technology.

Maruti Suzuki India Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales) Shashank Shrivastava said the Ertiga has sold over 7.5 lakh units and has been a "game-changer in India's MPV market"

"The next-gen Ertiga will have thoughtful new-age features, an upgraded powertrain and advanced 6-speed automatic transmission," he said.

It will provide customers with a more fuel-efficient, powerful, technologically advanced, and elegant companion for lengthy journeys with their loved ones, he added.

According to the company, the new Ertiga will include a sophisticated 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, along with a host of new-age technology and convenience features as Suzuki Connect and a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touch screen infotainment system.

The vehicle will also be available in a CNG version, according to the company.

The next-generation Ertiga, according to MSI Chief Technical Officer (Engineering), has been beautifully designed and equipped with an all-new K-series economical powertrain and advanced technologies to give a delightful driving experience while maintaining safety.

Step 2: Scroll down and look for E-book option.

Step 3: Click on it. E-book interface will open.

Step 4: Fill in the details.

Step 5: Booking is done.

Note: There are three steps in the E-book interface, You have to fill all the details correctly.
