Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 2022 launched: Maruti Suzuki on Monday launched its mid-sized SUV Grand Vitara in India. The SUV has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 10.45 lakh.
The vehicle was first unveiled by the company in July. The new Grand Vitara comes with 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.
It is available in 9 stunning colours options. These are NEXA Blue, Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Chestnut Brown (Not Available in Sigma), Opulent Red (Delta/Zeta only), Arctic White + Black (Zeta+/Alpha/Alpha+ only), Splendid Silver + Black (Zeta+/Alpha/Alpha+ only), and Opulent Red + Black (Zeta+/Alpha/Alpha+ only).
The car is equipped with new age technologies like Panoramic Sunroof, Head Up Display, Digital Multi-information Display, Wireless Charger, Next-gen Suzuki Connect, SmartPlay Pro+ and more.
In terms of comfort and convenience, Grand Vitara has Ventilated Seats, auto AC, Cruise Control and Paddle Shifters. It is available in variants - Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Zeta+, Alpha and Alpha+.
The newly launched vehicle has advanced safety features. It comes equipped with NEXA Safety Shield, a host of standard safety features, across all its variants. Some of the features are Suzuki TECT Platform, 6 Airbags, 360 View Camera, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and much more.
The Grand Vitara has 4 driving modes options – Auto, Sport, Snow and Lock.
- In AUTO mode, the vehicle prioritises fuel economy and switches between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive depending on the road surface and driving conditions.
- In SPORT mode, by regulating traction control and throttle input, the dynamics are optimised for sporty driving, such as on winding roads.
- In SNOW mode, stability is maximised to make driving through snow, unpaved or other slippery surfaces easier.
- In LOCK mode, the rear wheels are allocated power preemptively and torque is distributed to all four wheels equally to maximise traction when driving on tough surfaces
