Mahindra XUV400: Domestic automaker Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Monday said it has recorded over 10,000 bookings for its recently launched electric vehicle - Mahindra XUV400 - since the commencement of the booking. This translates to an estimated waiting period of seven months for delivery of the vehicle, it added.

It should be noted that the SUV is available in two variants and the introductory prices were applicable only for the first 5,000 bookings of each variant. These two variants are XUV 400 EC and XUV 400 EL.
The EC variant comes with a 34.5 kWh battery with a range of 375 km. It will be available with two charger options -- 3.3 kW priced at Rs 15.99 lakh and 7.2 kW at Rs 16.49 lakh.

Mahindra XUV 400: Delivery Details
According to Mahindra, the deliveries for the 'EL' variant will begin in March 2023, whereas the 'EC' variant's delivery will begin during Diwali festive season. However, M&M "aims to deliver 20,000 units of the XUV400 within a year of its launch, considering the challenges of the structural gap between the demand and supply of automotive-grade semiconductors and the availability of battery packs".
Launched on January 16, the all-electric SUV is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 160 km/h. It can replenish 80% battery capacity within 50 minutes.
The newly-launched SUV is equipped with features like electric sunroof, 17.78 cm touchscreen, 16" diamond-cut alloy wheels, new LED tail lamps, upto 6 airbags, rear-view camera, disc brakes all round, ISOFIX seats, and more. It is also equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while the BlueSense Plus App offers 60-plus mobile app-based connected features.
