Mahindra unveils 'Vision Thar e': A bold electric version of its popular Thar SUV
The Vision Thar.e rides on the INGLO electric platform, and packs an all-wheel-drive electric powertrain.
Mahindra Electric Automobiles Limited (MEAL), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra, has revealed the electric version of its popular Thar SUV on Tuesday, 15th August. Called the "Vision Thar.e" concept by the company, the vehicle embodies futuristic design, sustainable engineering, and electric prowess. The Vision Thar.e concept draws inspiration from Mahindra's "explore the impossible" philosophy, while paying homage to the popular Thar brand.
Talking about the newly-revealed vehicle, Pratap Bose, Chief Design Officer of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., describes the Vision Thar.e as a "bold and innovative future" and a design testament to Mahindra's commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity.

Sustainability is also in focus, as the Vision Thar.e incorporates 50 per cent recycled PET and recyclable uncoated plastics, underscoring Mahindra's dedication to environmental stewardship.
Talking about the vehicle's forward-thinking approach, Veejay Nakra, President – Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., remarks, "The Vision Thar.e is a testament to innovation and an avant-garde design philosophy that embodies the unique spirit of Mahindra while resonating globally."
