Maruti Suzuki Big New WagonR first look out: price starts at 4.19 lakh, to offer 25 kmpl mileage

WagonR launch live streaming online and updates: It's time to fasten the seat belts as Maruti Suzuki has launched its 3rd generation Big New WagonR. The launch event ceremony took place is New Delhi's Hyatt Regency hotel. "The 3rd gen, Big New Wagon R is designed to add confidence and character to every drive, with the strength that lies at its very heart," the company had said in a statement. The price of the new WagonR will was also announced at the launch event. The base model will cost Rs 4.19 lakh and the top model will come for Rs 5.69 lakh. The company had released many teaser videos that gave glimpses of how the new Wagon R may look like. The company claims new car to be sturdy, efficient, dynamic, effortless and spacious.

1:00 PM: The luggage space in this Big New WagonR is 200% as compared to previous one.

12:43 PM: RS Kalsi says that he is confident of breaking earlier sale record. He confirmed that the car has received 12k bookings already. Suzuki official confirms alto upgrade is also in the offing.

12:40 PM: The new Big WagonR will come in seven variants. Here is the price of all variants -

Kalsi said that WagonR took 12 years to sell first 1 million units but sold the next million in just six years.
