Maruti Suzuki Celerio India launched at Rs 4.99 lakh

Maruti Suzuki India Limited launched all-new Celerio today. Maruti Suzuki revealed the prices of the all-new Celerio. The price of the new 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio starts in India at Rs 4.99 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.The auto major had already started the bookings for its much awaited, stylish all-new Celerio on November 2. 

Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, takes the stage at the launch event. 

He added that all-new Celerio is the hatchback car for the new age generation. He said it is delightful package for new-age hatchback customers. The new Celerio has progressive design with signature elements.  

The all-new Celerio is the first car from Maruti Suzuki to come with its next-generation K10C petrol engine. In due course of time, this engine will power several other Maruti Suzuki models too.

Maruti Suzuki has revealed the fuel efficiency of the all-new Celerio. The new 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio delivers a claimed mileage of 26.68 kmpl, which makes it the most fuel-efficient petrol car in India.

Maruti Suzuki claims that almost every second car sold in India is a hatchback. The company dominates the segment with a whopping 66% share in India.

The new 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio is based on the company's fifth-gen Heartect platform. The new Celerio also gets a host of safety features including dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, segment-first hill-hold assist, etc.

The all-new Celerio is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre K10C petrol engine that delivers 65hp of power and 89 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT.

The company has introduced new design speedometer, added push button start/stop, smart play store. 

All-new Celerio will come in 4 colours, where the company is introducing 2 new colours. The all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio is available in six colour shades, including two new colours - Fire Red and Speedy Blue. The other colour variants on offer are Silky Silver, Glistering Grey, Arctic White and Caffeine Brown.
