Kia Syros SUV Unveiled: Kia India has officially unveiled the highly anticipated - Kia Syros - globally on Thursday, December 19. Built on the robust K1 platform, the Syros is poised to cater to urban drivers and adventure enthusiasts, blending luxury, versatility, and advanced technology, said the company.

According to the official release, the Kia Syros offers a range of industry-first features aimed at providing unmatched comfort. It introduces rear sliding, reclining, and ventilated seats, making it the first SUV in its segment to offer such versatility. Additionally, the SUV comes with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, adding to its premium feel. The Syros is also equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) Level 2, featuring 16 autonomous safety features and a comprehensive suite of 20 standard high-safety features for maximum protection.

Kia Syros SUV: Exterior Design 

The exterior of the Syros reflects Kia’s "Opposites United" design philosophy, as per the company's official release. The SUV’s appearance is highlighted by Kia’s signature starmap LED lighting and the Digital Tiger Face. It also features R17 Crystal Cut alloy wheels, streamlined door handles, puddle lamps with Kia logo projection, and muscular contours.

Inside, the Syros reimagines cabin space with a 2550mm wheelbase, offering generous legroom and flexibility. The interior is equipped with a 76.2cm (30-inch) Trinity Panoramic Display panel. The cabin is further elevated with features like 64-color ambient mood lighting, sporty alloy pedals, and a double D-Cut steering wheel. The Syros also boasts over 80 connected features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

Kia prioritises safety in the Syros, equipping it with features like Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, a 360-degree camera with Blind View Monitor, and Smart Cruise Control. The vehicle’s structural integrity is enhanced by the reinforced K1 platform. Under the hood, the Syros offers two engine options: a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine, both paired with manual and automatic transmission options for a smooth and responsive drive.

Kia Syros SUV: Trim Options   

The Kia Syros is available in four standard trims (HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX) and two option trims (HTX+, HTX+(O)), offering a range of configurations to suit diverse customer preferences. 

Kia Syros SUV: Price, Booking and Delivery

The Kia Syros SUV is set to be launched in India in January 2025, according to the company, with prices to be revealed at that time. Bookings for the Syros will also open in January, while deliveries will begin in February 2025.
