The countdown has already begun for entry of South Korean automotive giant Kia's first car in India. And, almost every week Kia is coming up with something new to tease and give a further boost to the buzz around the car before it officially hits Indian roads. After putting all launch speculation to rest and confirming that its first car for the Indian market will be unveiled on 20th June 2019, Kia has now revealed the interior images. Noteworthy, Kia's upcoming mid-size SUV is inspired by 2019 Kia SP Signature Concept and it is now highly anticipated in India.

What do these design sketches reveal?

Overall, the interior design reveals that Kia's car in India is aimed at people who tech-savvy young at heart who want a luxurious vibe with modern ambience. 

Commenting on the design of Kia's SP Concept-based SUV, Byung Chul Juh, Head of Kia Styling at Kia Motors Corporation, said, "We have focused on designing a cabin unlike any other in the mid-SUV segment, with a greater sense of depth and richness to the design." "Our newest model will offer greater pleasure and satisfaction to our customers, with a premium-quality interior that benefits from sophisticated design details," Byung Chul Juh adds.

Kia Motors is all set to launch the mid-SUV in the second half of 2019. The car’s trial production commenced on 29th January 2019 and will be manufactured at Kia’s facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
