Kia India  declared today the surpassing of a significant milestone - exporting over 250,000 vehicles. Since the inception of operations in 2019, the company has dispatched a total of 255,133 units to more than 100 markets worldwide from its manufacturing facility in Anantapur. Notably, the Seltos model has emerged as the primary contributor, representing 59% of the company's overall overseas shipments. Following closely are Kia's other innovations, the Sonet and Carens, contributing 34% and 7% respectively to the export tally.

As a vital export hub for the Kia Corporation, Kia India has traditionally focused on domestic sales. However, recent strategies indicate a shift in this approach, with the company now slated to manufacture 90% of its products for the Indian market beginning this year.

Presently, Kia India exports its vehicles to over 100 international markets from the Anantapur facility. Key destinations for Kia India's exports include South Africa, Chile, Paraguay, and various countries across Latin America. The Anantapur plant, operational for approximately five years, has rapidly evolved into a pivotal export center within Kia's global network.
